Quality Specialist is in charge of various items including but not limited to:

• Oversee effective continued implementation of the Quality Management System
• Prepare and implement quality assurance policies and procedures and perform routine inspections and quality checks
• Identify and resolve workflow and production issues and ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed
• Verify compliance and adequacy of procedures, and effectiveness of the quality system to identify opportunities for improvement
• Identify gaps in operational process workflow and suggests steps for operational quality process improvement
• Collect, prepare and analyze data for corrective action and process improvement.
• Ensure continued ISO 9001:2015 certification by reviewing policies and procedures for suitability and effectiveness and making revisions based on QMS goals and objectives.
• Responsible for successful annual ISO recertification (as the quality management representative), including coordination throughout the year to ensure internal audits & processes are being maintained and improved upon
• Maintain the Document Control System and assures compliance with applicable procedures and regulations, including filing, distribution and obsolescence as require
• Supports all business functions in documentation related matters in accordance and compliance with all applicable procedures.
• Coach and mentor personnel on the change control process and documentation handling practices

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 4-year college Degree
• Minimum 3 years Quality Systems experience.
• Certification related to quality control (RAC, Six-Sigma, etc.), preferred

• The ability to work with cross-functional teams throughout the organization.
• Strong quality written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills and a strong “business sense.”
