• Ensure the organizations Quality Management System conforms to customer, IATF 16949, and associated regulatory/legal requirements.
• Establish, train, and maintain a staff of quality personnel to conduct evaluations of internal products, processes and systems to ensure conformance to various standards and customer requirements.
• Ensure adequate training is provided and maintained for all personnel whose job function has direct impact to quality of manufactured product.
• Coordinate the activities necessary to maintain the Quality Management System, including various internal audits.
• Conduct established periodic management review meetings with appropriate personnel to report the performance of the Quality Management System to top management.
• Ensure vendors to the organization are periodically evaluated, and maintain an appropriate Quality Management System
• Ensure critical documents and records - such as standards, drawings, procedures - are properly maintained, controlled and communicated to appropriate personnel
• Oversee the evaluation of incoming materials to ensure they meet quality requirements
• Ensure the inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring equipment devices are timely and accurate.
• Ensure the evaluation of products meet or exceed the requirements stated in certification standards and customer specific quality expectations.
• Coordinate/support project activities with customers, employees, contractors, or outsourced firms, to develop new, or revise current activities, that will improve overall performance to customer requirements.
• Maintain and communicate customer evaluations and warranty performance of the organization to all personnel.
• Coordinate activities required in the case of a product safety recall.
• Communicate any and all issues that may have adverse effect on the overall performance of the facility and the employees within the organization
• Adhere to all safety and environmental policies including the Environmental Management system knowing the environmental impacts and work instructions specific to the job.

Job Requirements

• Experience with IATF 16949 audits
• Organizational skills and willingness to assume responsibility and accountability for quality performance
• Computer skills for Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Comply with company general policies and safety/environmental policies.

• Wear required PPE for designated area
