As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through the implementation and maintenance of quality control processes and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Issuing internal and external (when vendor makes mistake) corrective actions request Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective action plans
Coordinate the activities required to meet quality
Involved with keeping the machines running from a quality perspective
Provide support during machine set-ups, (help diagnose problems i.e. tooling programming, print interpretations.)
Performs first piece inspections and approval prior to production run
Maintenance of the basic ISO9000 manual – (QMP did not chose to register for ISO9000 but we follow the standards)
Oversee the QC lab, daily inspections and gauge calibrations
Prepare quality reports in accordance with acceptance criteria
Complete internal audits – Periodically confirm that QMP is following its own Quality Management System. Report findings to Management and make improvements.
Complete and sign off on the PPAP. (Production Part Approval Process)- Provide evidence that the product characteristics meet customer specification limits, capability, performance, stability, based on a significant sample size during an actual production run at the quoted production rate
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of 5 years quality experience
Computer skills required: (Microsoft Office; MS Dynamics, S.A.P, AutoCAD, S.P.C.)
