Currently hiring a Quality Manager for a company that is a world leader in the design, development, and manufacture of high-precision timing, frequency control and synchronization products for satellite and terrestrial applications.
Oversees all aspects of our AS9100 registered quality management system. Direct all of the company's quality and business improvement efforts, such as developing and administrating the quality program, training and coaching employees, and facilitating change throughout the organization.
Responsible for establishing strategic plans, policies and procedures at all levels so quality improvement efforts will meet or exceed internal and external customers’ needs and expectations.
Responsible for dealing directly with customers and suppliers on quality or performance issues.
Manage the quality department and its employees with performance monitoring and reporting.
Responsible for leading and facilitating all quality system customer and internal audits.
Manage all non-conformances to resolution.
The candidate will have the ability to:
• Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
• Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
• Inspect, test, or measure materials
• Measure products with calipers, gauges, or micrometers
• Operate electronic inspection equipment and software
• Strong ability to Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions
• Read blueprints and specifications
Experience with space level equipment and products a plus.
