As a House Person, you are to clean and maintain public areas. Collect laundry and remove trash while maintaining public areas. You are responsible for repairing and maintaining the hotel by ensuring quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, safety and security. A major part of your job is to be proactive in identifying potential issues and alerting the Chief Engineer so that proper action plan can be put in place. You should be able to maintain all aspects of the common areas and guest room’s areas to minimize the use of outside labor to maintain the hotel. Working in a hotel requires that you be available to work every day of the year, as the hotel never closes.
