Total Quality Management Senior Manager develops and implements an organization's total quality management strategy with policies, programs, and initiatives. Leads cross functional teams to study and develop effective tools, methods, and systems to ensure that the products and services are of the highest quality. Being a Total Quality Management Senior Manager creates standards used to measure quality results and to drive continuous improvements. Utilizes Six Sigma/Lean methodologies. Additionally, Total Quality Management Senior Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to top management. The Total Quality Management Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Total Quality Management Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     What You’ll Do:

    • Rotate through each department and train with an industry professional
    • Assist Directors in working on department goals
    • Complete data entry in various software across each department
    • Coordinate truck movement with other terminals
    • Answer calls and assist drivers in various issues
    • Support with hiring initiatives including attending virtual or in-person career fairs
    • Present research and ideas to help overall success of Total to upper management at conclusion of your program.

    What We’re Looking For:

    Education

    • Four-year college degree or work equivalent
    • Expertise in the transportation industry is a plus.

    Skills/Certifications

    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical entries, financial reports, and legal documents. Respond to common inquiries or complaints. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from top management, clients and the general public.
    • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form with several abstract or concrete variables.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Must have an aptitude and a desire for a career in the trucking industry
