Job description
We are a General Contractor that has been doing business in the Omaha/Metro area for over 35 years. We specialize in roofing, siding, gutters, remodels, and additions. The Production Manager is responsible for the entire production process of the company. He/she coordinates all activities related to the process of the construction of jobs. The Production Manager is responsible for seeing that all jobs are completed on time, on budget and with a high level of quality. The Production Manager will represent the company for all production related items. Complete customer satisfaction is Total Construction Services goal. Job duties are as follows:
· Supervises field staff and subcontractors
· Meets with sub’s who are assigned the job & go through scope of work
· Evaluates quality of work during production and at job completion
· Support the owner & all staff in day-to-day activities & company relations
· Ensure that change orders are written up and signed by the customer
· Maintain an adequate work force of sub-contractors to meet the needs of the company
· Responsible for preparing a quality control/pre-completion punch list
· Enter updates for job progression in Total’s in-house CRM
· Call customers to set up appointments for the field crews
· Download photos from field crew & upload into customer file
· Approves all requests for payments to sub-contractors
· Company phone is to be accessible and answered/email viewed nights and weekends for ESSENTIAL business items per owner & insurance programs
Must have extensive knowledge of how to do all construction work
