Total Quality Administrator administers the organization's total quality programs and processes. Develops data collection processes to produce metrics used in the auditing and analysis of processes.   • Position Overview: We are pursuing a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet our quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

    Key Responsibilities: This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below, but are not limited to the following:

    • Conduct inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
    • Perform visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests according to established procedures
    • Identify and document any defects, discrepancies, or deviations from specifications.
    • Work closely with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
    • Maintain records and documentation for the Quality Management System.
    • Coordinate or perform calibration for on-site inspection tooling.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans and procedures
    • Assist in any other projects or tasks as assigned
    • Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
    • 3 years proven experience in quality control or inspection roles within a manufacturing environment
    • Strong understanding of quality control principles, practices, and techniques
    • Strong understanding of blue print reading and GD&T.
    • Strong plate inspection skills using quality measurement tools, equipment, and testing methods
    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and discrepancies
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
    • General understanding of ISO 9001:2015 is required.
    • CMM programming a plus, but not required.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Certifications such as Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) are a plus
    • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles, 5S and Six Sigma methodologies is ideal
