  • Arcosa Wind Towers is seeking a Quality Assurance Admin/Assistant to join our Belen, NM team. In this role, you will be involved in administrative tasks such as documentation management, record-keeping, and supporting quality audits. You will also collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to creating a culture of excellence in product quality within the manufacturing plant. This role reports to the Plant Quality Manager.

    Location: Belen, NM

    What you'll do:

    • Maintain comprehensive product quality records and ensure their accuracy.
    • Conduct thorough reviews, scanning, and timely upload of relevant documentation to portals.
    • Organize and store physical and digital files systematically, facilitating shipments to retention facilities when necessary.
    • Conduct meticulous data reviews and entries, including product characteristics, material traceability reports, and certificates of authenticity.
    • Perform data entry, tracking, analysis, and generate reports for designated quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality record errors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Uphold confidentiality standards.
    • Assist in conducting quality-related training sessions and presentations.
    • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
    • Fulfill additional duties as assigned, showcasing flexibility and adaptability in supporting overall plant operations.

    What you'll need:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Administrative role or Assistant capacity. Manufacturing experience in Quality Assurance is preferred.
    • Demonstrate strong time management, verbal/written communication, and planning skills.
    • Possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Pay meticulous attention to detail and efficiently manage multiple projects within specified timelines.
    • Exhibit versatility, flexibility, and cooperation in adapting to changing priorities with professionalism and a sense of urgency.
    • Ability to maintain focus for extended periods, often reading medium to small print clearly.
    • Demonstrate good attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

    Working Conditions:

    • Full-time position
    • Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds which operate 3 shifts and frequent weekend shifts
    • This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
    • Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
