Additionally, Total Quality Administrator incorporates methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen in total quality activities. Typically is certified as Green Belt.     The Document Control And Quality System Administrator is responsible to maintain the document control system and organizing, managing and reporting of the internal audits and other Quality Management system information.


     Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

    • Acquire and maintain knowledge of the company quality management system, and applicable Customer specific requirements.
    • Update documents according to requests for documentation changes; maintain consistent formatting and correct grammar.
    • Create and maintain history of revisions of controlled documents.
    • Follow-up to obtain sign-off for initial and periodic approvals of controlled documents.
    • Create, obtain sign-off and maintain training records for implementation of the changed documents, when required.
    • Publish revised documents, retrieve and archive obsolete documents.
    • Maintain change and approval records for controlled documents of quality and environmental management systems.
    • Report out monthly the status of internal audits.
    • Maintain the Quality and Environmental System and other documentation, including procedures, instructions, forms, etc., in Plex Document Control System.
    • Issue weekly reports for status of completion of Quality Audits and associated Corrective Action Plan.
    • Other duties, as assigned by Quality or Plant Manager.



    Requirements

    • High School Diploma. Associates degree preferred.
    • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position; preference in a Manufacturing industry.
    • Ability to cooperate with people at all organizational levels, in group and individual settings.
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 Quality System organization and documentation.
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Power Point. Prior PLEX experience a plus.
    • Ability to drive action plans to completion, through issue of reminders, follow-up with responsible parties and publishing status updates.
    • Good oral/written communications and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational, planning and documentation skills.
