  • Summary: Our Mortgage Loan Officers play a crucial role in educating and assisting prospective mortgage applicants in finding the best home loan solutions tailored to their financial needs. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will develop and nurture relationships with external business partners, facilitate loan origination, and ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and cultivate new business relationships with external business partners.
    • Engage with local realtors to increase mortgage loan volume and support organizational objectives.
    • Strengthen positive business relationships within the community to drive loan referrals.
    • Plan and host events/training to enhance brand awareness and foster productive relationships.
    • Analyze industry data to develop effective marketing strategies and territory plans.
    • Provide detailed monthly reports on networking activities and market trends.
    • Originate mortgage loans within organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
    • Pre-qualify members and educate them on available loan programs.
    • Maintain communication with members throughout the application process.
    • Represent the organization professionally within the community.

    Skills Required:

    • Proficiency in real estate lending criteria and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
    • Demonstrated business development and sales skills.
    • Sound understanding of mortgage loan programs.
    • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite and related software.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Loan Officer.
    • At least 3 years of experience in outside self-sourced mortgage business.
    • Demonstrated ability to meet sales objectives and generate significant loan volume.
    • Proven track record of successful prospecting and business development.
    • Thorough list of references and existing realtor book of business.

    Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Manager, Mortgage Loan Officers.

    Compensation: $2000 forgivable draw. Fully commissioned position

    Job Type: Full-time
