Job Title: AWM Trust Officer 3
The AWM Trust Officer 3 is primarily responsible for the administration, development, and maintenance of more complex and larger trust and IRA accounts while providing administrative services to the high-level clients. The associate is accountable for the administration of assigned accounts and will have the primary responsibility for managing the account relationship. The associate will also direct all activities of assigned accounts in a manner that will ensure that administration of accounts will be in conformity with all governing instruments, laws, rules, legislation, policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
• Maintain and expand existing customer relationships in a current and appropriate condition while soliciting new business from client base by promoting bank services and products.
• Establish a call plan and work with Regional Investment Officer to regularly call on the high potential clients and centers of influence.
• Interact with high-level clients, resolving account problems with all areas of the Bank to ensure quality service is provided and clients’ needs are met.
• Provide customer with information and assistance regarding investment strategies and relationship management.
• Obtain additional assets for current accounts or by establishing new relationships through referrals.
• Review accounts for compliance with internal policies and procedures, federal regulations, local laws and legal documents.
• Interpret legal documents and determine both discretionary and non-discretionary distributions.
• Maintain and develop extensive client, professional, public, governmental, and internal bank contacts for communications, service, and counseling in bank trust and investment matters.
• Maintain a high level of professional educational awareness in order to keep current on industry issues and regulations while also maintaining knowledge of trust products, services, policies and procedure to answer questions and resolve customer inquired and potential problems.
• Performs complex administrative duties, which include Reg 9 reviews, non-discretionary distributions; monitors and approves overdrafts and prepares client reports and special projects.
• Coordinate activities with the Trust Division’s Tax Services, Investments, and Operations department to resolve related issues.
• Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field or equivalent military or work experience required.
• 6 years of experience in trust administration required.
• Completion of Personal Trust Curriculum Level 1, 2 & 3 ABA or related training required.
• Designation of CTFA and/or CFP or equivalent training and/or experience required.
• Excellent knowledge of fiduciary management techniques, investments, tax, and legal issues required.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles required.
• Excellent knowledge of Bank’s products and services required.
• Excellent skills/knowledge with the trust accounting systems required.
• Excellent skills/knowledge of the Advisor system required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members
