    We are looking for a high-energy, talented, and motivated Sales Executive to join our sales team in the Washington DC area to market and develop our software-as-a-service (SaaS) and value-driven HCM solutions.     Job Description:

     

    The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of pre-sales including calling customers and prospects, updating contacts lists in CRM, and working with internal sales teams and customer support teams.

     

    Candidates will support proposals and fee quotes and work diligently to close sales opportunities with software demos and follow-up meetings. Some limited travel outside the DC area may be required to HR trade shows and events.  

     

    Primary Responsibilities:

     

    • Provide primary sales support, call prospects, and qualify sales opportunities by working with prospects and leads. Represent the company at trade shows and events nationwide in the US and Canada.
    • Update sales contacts and sales opportunities to the sales CRM tool.
    • Provide phone sales support for prospects generated via trade shows, website leads, and marketing campaigns. Take notes from sales meetings and web demonstrations with requested functionality and comments from prospects.
    • Nurture leads and close sales opportunities by working with other sales team members and provide pricing and proposals.
    • Answer incoming email and phone inquiries from prospects, partners, and others.
    • Perform online demonstrations of software products for sales prospects and partners.
    • Update partners and re-sellers of upcoming software releases and assist them in closing sales.
    • Manage leads generated by marketing initiatives and help progress them through the sales funnel.
    • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge and sales skills to represent EMP Trust in the market professionally.
    • Work collaboratively with other team members and foster a healthy work environment with your sales team members and other employees.
    • Provide feedback to management on the process and suggest improvements requested from partners and end-users.
    • Use internal processes and tools to track contact activities accurately and enable management reviews.

     

    Minimum Qualifications

     

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to do make elevator pitches. Fluent in English language with the ability to speak clearly and concisely.
    • Good in-person, phone, and email communication skills are essential.
    • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook) and computer systems including knowledge of Human Resources terminology is ideal.
    • Experience presenting and demonstrating software products and computer-based systems is a plus.
    • Ability to think and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to train and explain technical concepts in clear and concise terms.
    • Prior experience in a software sale or call center environment is a plus.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and write proposals based on sales templates and price sheets.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willing to travel to trade shows as needed.
