Our client, a leading provider in the aviation maintenance industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team in Pompano Beach, FL. This position plays a crucial role in certifying airworthiness of parts, ensuring compliance with FAA standards, and maintaining quality control processes.

Responsibilities:

• Certify parts using FAA Form 8130-3 to meet regulatory requirements
• Act as the Designated Quality Representative for aerospace companies
• Ensure supplier products meet quality standards
• Resolve product quality issues and process customer returns
• Conduct internal quality audits to AS9100 standards
• Manage the Quality Control Hold Area and maintain compliance with ATC/AERO policies
• Communicate effectively with customers, OEM, and FAA representatives

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Quality and Aviation
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and AS9100 requirements
• Ability to interpret engineering design drawings and specifications
• Strong computer literacy and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Experience with ISO, OEM and FAA regulations
• Prior involvement with FAA or military equivalent
• Designee approval by the FAA is a plus
