The Tax Associate is an exempt client support position providing administrative, tax compliance, and fiduciary support. The Tax Associate’s primary responsibility is to coordinate and participate in client services within a team concept.
This Tax Associate position will work in our Minnesota office
Duties and Responsibilities :
Coordinates tax services for clients as part of a team model
Analyzes and resolves basic client issues using sound judgment based on experience
Updates client files and records as appropriate
Prepares quarterly and annual tax income reports and provisions
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from an accredited university
Master’s degree in Tax preferred
1-3 years current public accounting experience including individual and trust taxation
Actively working towards CPA certification
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local income tax laws
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM and tax preparation and research software.
