Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Department: Maintenance

Reports to: Maintenance Engineer FLSA Status: Exempt

Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities / Duties

• Build a sustainable maintenance plan that supports growth.

• Manage maintenance operations, safety, wastewater and environmental.

• Effectively manage monthly spending and department budget.

• Sustain and drive improvements through lean activities.

• Evaluate vendor and supplier proposals for equipment and facility upgrades.

• Support and direct Supervisors and or Shift Leads to meet department goals and objectives

• Provide mechanical / electrical expertise when necessary to reduce equipment downtime.

• Foster an environment of team while building relationships with other departments.

• Provide training to the maintenance team.

• Inspects work in progress and at completion to ensure the standards of safety and workmanship are maintained.

• Recommends, plans and implements equipment repairs to improve production efficiency and /or achieve cost reductions.

Adhere to food safety, legality, quality and company policies.

Qualifications

• Certification in mechanical, electrical or refrigeration.

• 2 years of maintenance management in food manufacturing experience preferred

• Demonstrated experience with welding, hydraulics and pneumatics. Experience with Ishida and Adco machines.

• Strong interpersonal, team building and communication skills at all levels

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations

• Experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Management preferred

Pay: $88,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
