  • New Business Revenue

    • Identifies and develops insurance prospects; networks with Centers of Influence.
    • Develops, follows and completes a marketing plan.
    • Responds to referrals quickly and effectively.
    • Creates and maintains prospect lists.
    • Originate and close new clients to meet revenue goals.
    • Identify and actively pursue prospective client meetings.
    • Work with Sales team on next steps for each prospect visit to include closing the file, working on the account over the long-term or getting an AE involved immediately.
    • Actively pursue and work key target prospects.
    • Work with Sales Leadership to identify AE for specific leads.
    • Work with AE to guide the process of moving the prospect through the sales cycle and ultimately winning the business.

    Retention Support

    • Entertain clients and build long lasting relationships with book of business.
    • Attend various meetings including pre-planning meetings, renewal meetings, annual risk management sessions, etc.
    • Get to know key decision makers and work to cross sell account.

    Personal Development

    • Stay current with new risk management ideas and strategies.
    • Understand carrier products and sales goals.
    • Lead on multiple sessions during M3 Professional Development days.

    Qualifications

    Experience

    Required

    Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of five years related insurance/sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Preferred

    Working knowledge of insurance and sales industry terminology

    Detailed knowledge of key carrier target markets and associated niches
