Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient deployment of mobile applications across the organization for our customers and to manage our Google and Apple developer relationships and accounts.

We expect you to have experience with project management, specifically in the areas of deploying customer applications or services. Experience with the Google Play Console and Apple App Store Connect is essential, including navigating the release process and working through the appeal processes. Demonstrated communication skills and experience dealing directly with customers is essential for this position. Additional skills useful to this position would include basic graphic design and a knowledge of managing projects in Jira. Preference will be given to someone with technical knowledge of app store deployment via Fastlane.

The position is part of our Infrastructure Services team and reports to the Manager of Infrastructure Services. This may be a remote position for the perfect candidate but priority will be given to candidates in or willing to relocate to Meridian, MS.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and manage configurations for new customer builds to specification

• Submit new apps and app updates to the Google and Apple app stores

• Customer liaison during the app deployment process, including collecting and understanding customer requests and translating into deployment configurations

• Issue resolution and customer escalation

• Manage audit/appeal/resolution process with Google and Apple

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, prompting action to ensure timely deployments continue

• Understand the capabilities of each application and suggest improvements based on customer feedback where appropriate

• Inform and train customers on new features

• Participate in product and design reviews

Requirements and Qualifications

• PMI Certified Project Manager or significant demonstrated experience managing projects

• Experience deploying applications in Google and Apple app stores, including navigating the appeals process

• Experience with Jira preferred

• Experience with Fastlane deployments preferred

• Experience generating mobile icons from customer provided resources preferred

• Experience in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets preferred

• To be a highly energetic self-starter

• Ability to work under tight deadlines

• Good oral and written communication skills
