Top Sales Executive provides leadership to the sales organization and develops the overall sales strategy, operational plans and processes that drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives. Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Top Sales Executive oversees goal-setting processes for all levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Creates capabilities to effectively analyze the business environment, identify and understand competitors, and retain and expand the customer base. Additionally, Top Sales Executive collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify market needs and innovate new products. Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs. May personally participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Sales Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.     As a Regional Sales Executive at STEP, you will sell products and services offered by the Company to current and new clientele in your assigned sales territory.

    • Be always a team player, raising awareness of risks, while supporting the teams’ design, implementation, and support of our solutions. Willing to jump in and assist with any work efforts or responsibilities as needed.
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with management, customers, partners, and team members.
    • Maintain knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in the Sales profession; apply this knowledge to recommend and implement process and policy changes.
    • Share with and receive from the STEP team techniques and information around product knowledge, customer and market intelligence, and general sales techniques to improve your success.
    • Set an example as an ethical, responsive, and reliable member of STEP and its sales team in communicating with customers, manufacturing partners, and co-workers.
    • Be responsive to customer, manufacturing partner, and co-worker communications; constructively problem solve and strive to exceed the company’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
    Core Duties and Responsibilities
    • Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
    • Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs.
    • Demonstrate the function and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
    • Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
    • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities.
    • Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
    • Maintain the highest standards and knowledge base of the products you will sell.
    • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
    • Travel as required based on position responsibilities.
    Ideal Candidate’s Qualifications and Experience
    • 5 years of relevant experience
    • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
    • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Possess strong multi-tasking and attention to detail skills.
    This is a remote, work from home position with some travel included as position duties require. Ideal candidates are located in or near AZ, NM, NV, CO.
