Top Sales Executive provides leadership to the sales organization and develops the overall sales strategy, operational plans and processes that drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives. Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Top Sales Executive oversees goal-setting processes for all levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Creates capabilities to effectively analyze the business environment, identify and understand competitors, and retain and expand the customer base. Additionally, Top Sales Executive collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify market needs and innovate new products. Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs. May personally participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Sales Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.     About the Team

    • Marketing & Customer Experience for our client
    • Under this umbrella, marketing BlackStarTech for portable lighting solutions that can implement power in any form needed to power critical devices in plants.
    • There is a Sales Manager in place (for about one year) that is looking for support.
    • The team utilizes Salesforce and Zoom Info.

    Travel Requirements

    • Training will take place in Davenport, IA (manufacturing plant) for 2-3 weeks.
      • This will take place within a month of onboarding.
    • 25-30% travel to prospective sales sites and conferences.

    Responsibilities

    • Prospect for potential leads and make outbound sales communication
    • Perform regular follow-ups with leads in pursuit of setting meetings
    • Hold meetings with customers and work towards a successful sale.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience. Command of lead generation, prospecting, outbound sales techniques, etc.
    • Experience selling industrial products (batteries, portable power solutions, lighting, etc.)
    • Experience working within a CRM (Salesforce preferred)

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    • Experience in one or more of the following industries: Education, medical, emergency, utility.
