The US Personal Banking and Wealth Management Marketing organization drives all aspects of the customer lifecycle, from Acquisition to Engagement to Retention, across all major Business Units in Citi's Personal Bank - Branded Cards and Lending, Retail Bank and Mortgage, Wealth and Citi Retail Services. The Existing Customer Marketing (ECM) team within this organization is a critical driver of Marketing, with a vision to deepen and expand the relationships our customers have with Citi - increasing their usage of our products and services, promoting behaviors that create long-term loyalty, and thoughtfully communicating new benefits, features and products that can strengthen our relationship. The organization develops the strategies and plans that deliver sizable revenue, deposits and sales with substantial budget and headcount.

The Retail ECM Marketing - Head of Retail to Cards Marketing (SVP) is responsible for leading the marketing strategy and execution for Retail-to-Cards acquisition programs and supports Investment-to-Cards Wealth initiatives including CitiGold, Citi Self Invest and CPWM. This role will develop, defend and execute a detailed and robust omnichannel Marketing plan to create new and innovative ways to deliver incremental deposits and expense efficiencies. This role will further ensure a coordinated set of metrics to determine program effectiveness and maintain a tight lens on controls and budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop omnichannel Marketing Plan targeting Retail-to-Cards customers with Retail deposit products
• Work with Analytics to determine optimal targeting and contact strategy to continue to optimize existing programs
• Develop a test and learn agenda for ongoing program enhancements
• Create a focus on performance marketing to ensure comprehensive understanding of campaign results and identify program optimization
• Identify new opportunities with the Retail-to-Cars programs tied to the evolution of Retail marketing
• Lead, manage and develop a team of 3 VP Program Managers
• Foster a strong control environment within cross-sell, adhere to established operating procedures and lead Issues Resolution as they arise.
• Manage the Retail relationship with American Airlines by representing Marketing in contract renewal negotiations and drive the marketing discussions and planning pre and post consummation.
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for the Citi American Airlines team and for senior card partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
• 8 years of experience developing and executing marketing campaigns and proven experience developing marketing strategies
• Ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams in Business Units, Analytics, Marketing Executions and Controls
• Experienced people manager
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships across a wide group of stakeholders (including with an external partner)
• Experience managing external marketing agencies
