Guardian Angels Homecare in Cheshire is looking for a part time Recruiting Assistant to help facilitate the company’s hiring process.
Responsibilities:
Perform recruitment duties such as initial phone interview and onsite interviews.
Keep calendars for all hiring teams and applicants.
Answer phone calls and monitor emails
Screen applicants by performing background check, drug screens and verifying their qualifications and experience.
Administer employee orientations.
Assist with the administration of new hire procedures, including preparing documents, issue employee badges and issue scrubs.
Process E-Verify.
Maintain employee database on Generations to ensure that documentation and job requirements are up to date and correct.
Maintain employee personnel files.
Oversee training of all new caregivers and employees.
Maintain and keep current on the Generations database the Reminders for employees.
Perform additional human resource activities and assignments as direct by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma
1 year of recruiting/training experience
Experience in health care or home care preferred
Requirements:
Strong Computer Skills
Familiarity with standard hiring practices, such as scheduling interviews and onboarding processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask, prioritize and have strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
5-hour shift, Monday to Friday
9:00am - 2:pm
