We are seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee payroll operations, in addition to managing payroll processes. Must-have experience processing payroll for union employees. Willingness to work on-site five days a week

Primary Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate weekly processing of union payroll transactions, encompassing salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
• Ensuring precision in payroll updates such as new hires, terminations, and pay rate adjustments
• Identifying and suggesting enhancements to payroll software, systems, and protocols.
• Execution of additional Finance and Human Resources duties as assigned.
• Opportunity for professional advancement within the role

Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing procedures
• Profound understanding of union payroll procedures, including preparation, reconciliation, internal controls, and taxation
• Certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is desirable
• Exemplary organizational skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
