Position Summary: The Quality Control Lab Technician performs all activities required to assure raw materials, intermediates, and finished products meet required specifications, while ensuring operation and maintenance of all laboratory equipment. This position is responsible for Quality Assurance on all outgoing packaged products and maintaining inventory of lab supplies and equipment. This role is expected to adhere to all regulatory and safety requirements.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Prepare all solutions, compounds, and reagents necessary for procedures.
• Receive and properly store all samples to be tested and/or retained.
• Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments.
• Responsible for documenting, logging, and reviewing all results/data.
• Communicate effectively with other departments on and off site.
• Maintain records to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Assist Procurement, R&D, and Production in qualification of new raw materials and products.
• Oversee the quarantine process of any off-spec material.
• Maintain all laboratory equipment including maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair. Ensure inventory levels for laboratory supplies are maintained.
• Continually evaluate methods/procedures and recommend improvements.
• Work with basic computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Other duties not listed above as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:
• Minimum laboratory experience of 1 year
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred
