Top Purchasing Executive leads procurement and purchasing operations and develops strategic plans to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing. Evaluates and develops strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain. Being a Top Purchasing Executive fosters collaboration with other functions to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels. Designs processes and systems and utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands. Additionally, Top Purchasing Executive incorporates auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Purchasing Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments.     DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

    • Working on multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring all estimates are developed within project goals.
    • Ensuring projects are estimated according to approved plans, specifications, drawings and applicable building codes.
    • Preparing detailed construction Cost Estimates, Purchase Orders and Change Orders.
    • Assisting with the development of schedules to meet milestones and completion dates.
    • Prepare for and attend project meetings
    • Reading and using plans to gather information for project estimates.

    SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum 3 years experience in construction estimating
    • Knowledge of residential construction
    • Ability to read and interpret residential plans
    • Experience in sales and communicating with clients
    • Excellent communication skills
    • No Smoking
    • Valid driver’s license

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
