  • The IT Project Sr Tech Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provides IT strategic direction for projects managed including developing detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
    • Exercises influence over team budget, policy formulation and planning.
    • Has significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
    • Provides expertise in projects managed and demonstrates an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership.
    • Possesses an understanding of client core business functions.
    • Directly impacts the business through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions for IT Project Leadership.
    • Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions); may communicate with external parties.
    • Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology to achieve technology objectives.
    • Responsible for resource management and allocation of work; acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
    • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


    Qualifications:

    • 10 years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field
    • Responsible for End to End Management for a Data warehousing, Data Mapping, Data Management projects.
    • Extensively work with Product teams and collaboration with technical teams.
    • Strong Agile background.
    • Strong technical capabilities and analysis, writing requirements, development - This individual will not code.
    • Hugh plus is financial experience, preferably, in Commercial or Consumer Cards, Capital Markets, Equities or similar background.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

    Job Location: Must Work Onsite on a 3 Days Mandatory, Hybrid basis out of the following Office:
