    As part of Cardinal Health Corporate Engineering team, the Program Manager is responsible for leading large corporate programs, supporting the introduction and transfer of Cardinal Health Products and processes within the Cardinal Health manufacturing network. The Program Manager will work as a team member with the Quality, R&D, Sustaining Engineering, Procurement, Marketing and Regulatory organization to ensure the successful execution and ongoing production of finished Medical Devices at our internal Cardinal Health facilities and our Contract Manufacturers Applicant must demonstrate the ability to deliver quality, innovative, cost-effective and timely solutions in a multiple project environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead large scale initiatives for manufacturing operations across the network
    • Manage overall program budget and financials
    • Responsible for both direct and indirect cross functional team members
    • Lead and support new manufacturing process introductions
    • Lead and support process transfers
    • Support of strategic sourcing initiatives
    • Develop detailed project plans and schedule; identify and obtain resources needed; communicate project objectives and deliverables, review schedule and progress with appropriate stakeholders; revise project timelines if necessary.
    • Leads the Core Team Meetings to ensure the project is on-track, that all Core Team Members are aware of current and upcoming deadlines, and identifies and addresses any emerging issues. In the event of conflict the Program Manager has the power to decide on the outcome (within the frame of the project plan) and is accountable for the decision.
    • Responsible for ensuring that all Core Team Members are involved in key decisions and buy-in to the decision going forward.
    • Negotiate with business partners through the decision making process and influence the outcome.
    • Develop and deliver regular status reports.

    Qualifications

    • BA, BS in Engineering or equivalent experience in related field preferred
    • Advanced Degree is desired
    • Preferred Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma
    • 8-12 years of experience in engineering project management preferred
    • Previous experience leading teams of technical professionals preferred
    • Experience with GMP and FDA regulations in medical device industry preferred
    • Must possess strong analytical skills to evaluate complex technical information
    • Understanding of financial, budgeting and commercial evaluation process.
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate both technical and business information
    • Ability to travel, approximately 25% (Domestic and International)

    Anticipated salary range:$114,200 - $189,310
