  • Meta is looking for a Program Manager to join its Privacy and Data Practices Organization, supporting the Privacy Planning and Operations Team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is skilled at supporting complex cross-functional initiatives and is excited to support privacy at Meta. Successful candidates are motivated and driven self-starters who see the value of creating inclusive spaces when solving hard problems and recognize diverse perspectives. The Planning and Operations team build and implement programmatic processes and capabilities to ensure that each of the product teams across Meta execute on the most critical privacy work for the company. In this role, you will help identify and synthesize privacy requirements and drive alignment across product teams. You will support prioritization of large scale privacy initiatives across all Meta products as well as ensure that customized and tailored solutions are developed when appropriate. You will serve as the bridge across multiple cross-functional privacy teams, helping build and scale privacy programs and processes across the company. We are looking for a Program Manager who is process-oriented and brings operational excellence to the privacy program initiatives they lead. This is a highly collaborative role; success will require strong cross-functional collaboration, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to drive execution of critical workstreams. You should be a team player who is comfortable challenging our existing ways of working and bringing a fresh perspective to our approach.


    Privacy Program Manager, Privacy Planning and Operations Responsibilities:

    • Support execution of privacy programs and organize alignment across multiple diverse stakeholders
    • Support stakeholders in a rapidly evolving, critical privacy area for the company
    • Build and analyze dashboards to evaluate stakeholder performance against Key Performance Indicators
    • Foster and cultivate partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across privacy and product teams
    • Collaborate with Privacy and Data Practices teams and partner with product stakeholders to develop a prioritized view of the privacy work that’s required across teams. Track and drive accountability for execution of privacy work
    • Advocate for the most critical privacy work and ensure it is prioritized appropriately
    • Identify processes and drive operational rigor to yield highest effectiveness and efficiency as we continue to scale
    • Develop and implement methods to define and measure the progress and success of programs. Actively identify, track and drive resolution of critical issues and risks
    • Operationalize processes and programs that enhance efficiency while meeting programmatic requirements
    • Identify, prioritize and support initiatives that leverage the collective capabilities of multiple teams, and drive coordination, clarity, and a cohesive strategy to map and unblock interdependencies across teams



    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
    • Experience navigating ambiguity and drive clarity in a rapidly evolving environment
    • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and delivering operational results
    • Experience working within a product environment and partnering with product managers and engineering function
    • 3 years experience with project management, program management, strategy, management consulting, communications and/or operations
    • Analytical and process driven to drive program management rigor and standardization - Experience communicating with and successfully aligning cross-functional teams around a common goal
