The anticipated salary range for this role is between $229,000.00and $253,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. Design and maintain data privacy framework and associated policies, standards and conformance-monitoring criteria. Educate business stakeholders on key policy requirements and themes. Advise business leadership on new products, transactions, market segments and/or strategic initiatives. Refresh policies on a regular basis to ensure completeness, sustainability and clarity.
Design and maintain centralized data privacy framework and associated policies, standards and conformance monitoring criteria. Educate business stakeholders on key policy requirements and arrange regular internal communications to raise awareness on important themes and expectations. Advise business leadership on new products, transactions, market segments and/or strategic initiatives through the lens of data privacy and associated risks. Routinely monitor data privacy framework and policies and introduce improvements as appropriate. Refresh policies on a regular basis to ensure completeness, sustainability and clarity as business landscape evolves. Leverage audit findings, internal and external case studies, and stakeholder feedback to identify possible framework gaps to be addressed.
Foster relationships with specialist compliance teams and business line compliance to stay informed on evolving framework and training requirements. Liaise with colleagues in adjacent support functions, including technology, legal, HR and risk management, to design and optimize data privacy framework and associated training content. Participate in industry roundtables and other forums to maintain relationships with external counterparts and regulators, and to stay current on latest themes in data privacy landscape. Align with counterparts in other framework teams to collaborate on themes or risk areas where there is overlap.
Demonstrate an awareness of key regulatory risks and requirements by maintaining a clear, complete and sustainable data privacy framework and associated conformance standards. Apply subject matter expertise to ongoing impact analysis of new business initiatives and opportunities; provide expert guidance to business stakeholders on balancing regulatory risks against commercial opportunities. Monitor briefings and other communications from key regulators on a continuous basis to understand emerging data privacy themes and assess need for enhancement of existing framework and policies. Use insights gained from audits, industry case studies and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement of data privacy framework and communications. Leverage network of internal colleagues, competitive counterparts and regulatory contacts to stay current on data privacy landscape.
