Description
Under supervision obtains and completes all data relative to the registration process, admission forms and obtain signatures and insurance information and from patients, patient representatives, residents and clients. Obtains authorizations for inpatient and outpatient visits, processes payments and receipts, and controls cash box. Assists the Business Office staff with filing and mailings. Accurately complete computer data entry. Sensitively assists customer with reimbursement requirements according to regulatory guidelines, and provides assistance to customers with special financial needs.
The Business Office provides accounting, patient registration, billing, and collection services for the Providence Valdez Medical Center, Providence Valdez Behavioral Health and City of Valdez ambulance services.
