What You’ll Do:
The Junior Legislative Affairs Support STO will proactively work with DSCA and other stakeholders to facilitate the development of complex Congressional responses and requests for information (RFI) across organizational equities. In addition to, review, coordinate, document, and edit Congressional taskings and correspondence, including Member and Staffer requests for information; briefings; transmittals; notifications; reports; and Statements of Administration Policy. Besides strong writing skills, you will be adept at journalistic writing, have strong attention to detail, and be a self-starter.

Five (5) years applying a working knowledge of the U.S. Congress, the annual legislative cycle, and Congressional processes to develop the National Defense Authorization Act and the annual Defense Appropriations Act.
Compensation:
There are multiple factors that we considered in determining final pay for this position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The salary range is $100 – 120k.
Security Clearance Requirements:
A government background investigation will be conducted on selected applicants to determine whether they qualify for access to classified information, namely, a Secret Clearance. This requires you to be a US citizen or permanent resident.
