ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Leads the development and roll out of retention initiatives throughout the organization. Analyzes the approach, challenges and impact of various programs, including performance management; onboarding plans and checklists, engagement action planning, etc. Administers Performance Management process as well as employee engagement surveys; new hire surveys; exit/stay interviews and surveys; and other tools for gaining insight on employee needs, concerns and ideas. Partners with Operations to promote the organization’s mission through retention initiatives. Establishes metrics for program success; analyzes program approach, challenges, and impact; and develops reports with recommendations for improvements. Schedules and coordinates focus groups, department workshops, and other events as needed. May support 1) Learning Institute with planning, analysis of program success, and facilitation of learning programs associated with OD initiatives; 2) Employee Relations with process for interventions and performance plans; and 3) School Partnership Liaison with plans and approaches for attracting/engaging interns as well as methods of promoting organization to students entering the job market. Conducts exit interviews with terminated employees and interns and collect/analyze data to improve retention in the organization. Understands and applies basic Organizational Development theories/principles. Understands and can explain detailed company policies and procedures, as well as documents department processes not covered by others in OD, HR or Training. .
