  • Duties

    • Directs, develops, or performs logistics management functions that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the actions required to support aerospace flight and facility operations.
    • Identifies specific requirements for budget, workforce, material, facilities, contracts, and technical services needed to support aerospace programs.
    • Serves as Personal Property, Real Property, Property Disposal, and Center Transportation Officer as needed.
    • Serves as liaison, composes and reviews Agency regulations to ensure adherence to the USPS regulations, and the Department of Transportation and Government Services Administration policies and procedures.
    • Ensures Contractor complies with the defined Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements in the Contract. Conducts contract reviews to evaluate contractor performance.
    • Provides technical monitoring of support service contract within the scope of MAF's equipment and logistics management program. Evaluates contractors providing maintenance and repair services to MAF.
    • Oversees and accounts for all personal property and assists in developing, implementing and maintaining a formal program for direction, surveillance, and assessment of property systems for government-owned, contractor-held property.
    • Supports the development, planning, integration, and implementation of logistics support systems, equipment, and processes.

    Qualifications

    Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

    To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:
    • Providing logistics support, to include, property management for Facility and Aerospace programs;
    • Interfacing with various teams to provide logistical support for the design, operations and maintenance of facilities or program requirements;
    • Working across organizations and teams to provide logistical support for specified missions, systems or other designated programs/projects.
