Develops the overall strategy, metrics, and processes to deploy an optimized logistic network and operations. Being a Top Logistics Management Executive oversees critical and related inventory, distribution, and transportation functions that support the achievement of organizational goals and KPI's for product delivery and customer satisfaction. Utilizes analytics to monitor and measure performance, identify problems in operations, and achieve high performance at optimal cost. Additionally, Top Logistics Management Executive requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Logistics Management Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Logistics Management Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     Education and Experience »

    • 5 years of logistics/supply chain management experience.
    • 2 years SAP, Power BI, Oracle, data mining experience.
    • Manufacturing experience (preferred).
    • German fluency (preferred).

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
    • Basic = less than 1 year of experience/training needed; Intermediate = 1-3 years of experience/some training may be needed; Advanced = 3-5 years experience/no training needed; Expert = 5 years experience/able to train others.
    • Advanced knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Oracle, Excel
    • Advanced ability to review financial data and interpret results.
    • Expert project management skills.
    • Advanced presentation and communication skills.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
    • Expert problem solving, analytical thinking and process analysis skills.
    • Advanced SAP proficiency, especially in FI, CO, MM, SD modules.
    • Expert ability to initiate improvements, set direction and take ownership.
    • Advanced ability to develop talent.
    • Expert ability to work collaboratively.
    • Advanced ability to communicate for results.
    • Expert ability to adapt to change.
    • Expert ability to think strategically.
    • Advanced ability to focus on the customer.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Derives assessment, analysis results and recommendations to management.
    • Compiles and analyzes data to measure and assess current returnable container warehouse operations.
    • Develops existing and new KPIs based on their effectiveness to steer operations.
    • Tracks and reports KPIs for ongoing warehouse and logistical operations.
    • Coordinates scheduling agreements with process partners including testing, documentation, user training reporting on progress and results.
    • Coordinates and/or leads projects as agreed by management including planning, concept development, implementation and documentation, testing and training.
    • Performs big data analytics using SAP, Power BI, Oracle, Excel.
    • Coordinates internal audit responses with departments.
    • Represents the department in cross functional projects and coordinates the project needs with affected department members.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.
