Top Litigation Executive oversees all litigation related to an organization and ensures maximum protection of the organization's legal rights. Acts as a liaison between outside attorneys and in-house staff. Being a Top Litigation Executive directs cases through litigation cycle, reviews new files for coverage and liability issues, and develops a cost effective defense strategy. Consults with senior management to resolve issues and decide settlements. Additionally, Top Litigation Executive requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to top management. The Top Litigation Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Top Litigation Executive typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Litigation Management, Inc. (LMI) is seeking a Record Intake Processor to handle incoming mail receipts as a result of record requests; as well as preparation of outgoing requests for records and other correspondence. This position is accountable for scanning in paper mail receipts as well as processing electronic mail receipts. The Record Intake Processor adheres to client retention protocols and is responsible for preparing documents for storage and/or destruction based on a pre-set schedule.

    This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, working a hybrid schedule. Schedule is during normal business hours. You must have your own desktop or laptop and second screen to work when at home - we do not support Chromebooks or tablets.

    Keep an eye on your spam folder within a week of applying for a message regarding scheduling a phone screen.

    Qualifications:
    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, MS Excel and internet research.
    • Prior record intake or mail room
    • experience preferred
    • Must have the ability to identify components of a legal and medical record. Medical terminology is a plus.
    • Data entry and document scanning/coding experience preferred
    • Working knowledge of business equipment, (i.e. fax, scanner, copier, etc.)
    • Ability to comply with privacy and security policies and procedures
    • Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail
    • Professional written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to apply critical thinking and make independent decisions
    • Research and investigative skills
