Job Type/Shift Information: Full Time or Part Time. We are open to discussing your availability for hours, and we want to make a match between your schedule and our needs. We provide life skills instruction seven days a week during the day, afternoon, and evening hours. We offer flexible schedules and virtual work options.
Responsibilities for a Life Skills Instructor include:- Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for members to reach key goals and milestones in their journey towards independence
- Providing one-to-one or small group instruction and activities for members that focus on communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management
- Assisting in the evaluation process and providing appropriate trainings
Requirements for a Life Skills Instructor include:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of related experience
- Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
Location: You will work independently with members who live between Madison, CT and Old Saybrook, CT.
Hourly Rate: $19.00, plus eligible mileage reimbursement
