Top Legal Executive plans and directs all aspects of an organization's legal affairs. Ensures all business policies and activities are managed correctly and in compliance with current laws. Being a Top Legal Executive provides strategic guidance on legal issues, manages compliance and risk mitigation, reviews contracts, and handles other legal duties to protect the organization's interests. Uses a broad range of legal expertise and current knowledge to advise leadership on any regulatory changes or actions that may impact the business. Additionally, Top Legal Executive assists or represents the organization in business negotiations. May assist in the defense of the organization in lawsuits and the prosecution of lawsuits on behalf of the organization. Requires a JD. Requires State Bar membership. Typically reports to Top Legal Executive. Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization. This is a full-time position for someone that can quickly retain a large amount of information, pay attention to details and work at a fast pace.
The Data Entry Specialist will support the team by organizing and prioritizing large volumes of tasks and activities including the use of our internal workflow database to prep and scan documents, process incoming documents from courts, print/file legal documents, and sort/distribute documents to locations across the Region/Country.
About You Must have knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment including scanners, copiers and printers Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands with accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Minimum of 1 year order/data entry experience Accuracy is important to you, and you type like the wind (60 WPM preferred) You have well-developed communication skills and are able to interact positively with individuals at all levels You recognize that team performance is more significant than individual performance You work with a sense of urgency
