    Your New Role

    Performs various administrative duties for the Senior Vice President, Sr. Labor Relations Counsel and Vice President, Labor Relations

    Your Role Accountabilities

    • Perform clerical duties. Answer phones, schedule high volume meetings for labor executives, create and maintain digital and physical files, submit expense reports, and assist with travel arrangements. Open, review, record, distribute and prioritize mail. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

    • Assist Director of Labor Relations to administer trust fund payroll and residuals audits. Gather and coordinate data requested by auditors with internal WB payroll and residuals departments and production. Track the status of audits in e-Counsel database. Review and redact information from employment agreements that are outside the scope of audits. Process trust fund invoices.

    • Complete required Union/Guild forms. Complete signatory applications for unions and guilds to clear each new theatrical motion pictures and tv episode to start principal photography. Draft Letters of Guarantee (based upon templates) for distribution to WGA, DGA, SAG-AFTRA. Facilitate processing of benefit trust fund forms for crew members. Draft Related/Affiliated Entity documents for submission to the Motion Picture Industry Pension and Health Plans before principal photography. Research and draft Production Designer Screen Credit requests. Draft new hire letters for appropriate unions/guilds and Contract Services Administrative Trust Fund for roster placement.

    • Track Union/Guild Contractual Deadlines. Track American Federation Musicians scoring deadlines. Track minor waivers sent to Departments of Labor. Track AMPTP information request deadlines. Track Arbitrator selection deadlines.

    • Manage WGA Reacquisition Process. Draft responses to WGA Notices of Reacquisition. Track WGA reacquisition deadlines for Business Affairs, Legal Affairs and Labor to ensure rights do not lapse.

    • Submit required Union reports. Submit DGA deal memos for each theatrical motion picture, quarterly earnings reports to DGA/SAG-AFTRA/IATSE, and OPEIU payroll reports.

    • Maintain various databases to track union information. Maintain Claims Database to track all union claims to discern claim patterns for use in industry negotiations. Generate claims reports from the Database. Update Waiver Database to track waivers that Labor Executives request from Unions.

    • Distribute labor documents. Distribute WB Labor Relations memos, AMPTP Notices to production executives. Distribute union collective bargaining agreements and Memoranda of Agreements to production clients after negotiations.

    • Assist with Studio’s annual compliance filing with the U.S. Department of Labor. Obtain and organize information from various studio divisions to assist labor executives supervising the filing.

    • Organize flow of information for labor relations: Coordinate with WB Production Administration to create internal production reports identifying key information such as production personnel and contact information for each theatrical information. Update theatrical motion picture assignments. Update union contact lists. Take notes in pre-production conference calls for each production.

    • Provide support for arbitrations. Assemble documents to help labor executives and outside counsel prepare for arbitration.

    • Provide support during industry negotiations. Complete and verify for accuracy Authorization Lists naming different WB entities that AMPTP has authorization to negotiate for. Draft index of Union and Management Proposals to aid labor executives.

    • Investigate claims involving smaller claim amounts. Research and investigate under labor executive’s supervision SAG-AFTRA day player and background performer claims. Review film footage to investigate SAG-AFTRA upgrade claims. Interact with production personnel, casting representatives, payroll and union/guild Business Representatives as required.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Previous Labor Relations and/or Legal experience preferred

    • Previous secretarial experience preferred

    • Previous experience working in a confidential environment preferred

    • Previous Entertainment Industry experience in television and/or film preferred.

    • High School diploma required. College degree preferred.

    • Must have strong writing skills and attention to detail.

    • Typing at 50 wpm required

    • Must have proficiency with Word, Excel, One Drive, Sharepoint and Adobe Acrobat.

    • Must have knowledge of file set-up, maintenance, filing procedures, basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, report & letter formats.

    • Must be able to handle heavy paper flow and extensive filing from both Supervisors

    • Must be able to communicate effectively & tactfully with persons on all levels in person & on telephone

    • Must be able to pay close attention to detail and understand written & oral instructions

    • Must be able to work independently; must be able to take initiative

    • Must be able to organize & schedule work effectively; must be able to handle multiple tasks

    • Must be able to work well under time constraints; must be a team player

    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality

    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to change priorities quickly

    • Must be able to work flexible hours including overtime if and when necessary

    • Must be able to take direction and instructions being given

    • Must be able to keep track of current projects supervisors are handling

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $39,749.00 - $73,819.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
