The Labor Relations Generalist is responsible for providing key support for all aspects of the department in the facilitation of the administration of all collective bargaining agreements. These responsibilities include work force data collection, pre-negotiation contract analysis, cost and predictive modeling, trust data analysis/reporting, arbitration research and grievance research.
The Labor Relations Generalist provides the Labor Relations team members and senior leadership with data and statistical analysis of the union represented work force for all banners, distribution centers and office support, as well as the statistical analysis of the UFCW and Teamster health & welfare and pension trusts that the company supports. The generalist collaborates and supports Labor Relations, Human Resources, and other leadership.
The Labor Relations Generalist ensures that all labor relations matters and activities are conducted in a manner consistent with Company strategies, operational and business objectives, and Company core values.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Education: Two-year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)
Experience: Two years of related experience
Other: Maintain timely and regular attendance. Must be able to work overtime, when needed.
Physical: Basic office and store environment: ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, use stairs, reach, pull and lift objects
