Top Labor Relations Executive oversees the design, implementation and maintenance of an organization's labor relations program and policies. Represents the organization in labor-management relations, including contract negotiations and arbitration cases. Being a Top Labor Relations Executive administers and interprets collective bargaining agreements, and establishes policies for reporting and addressing grievances. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Top Labor Relations Executive typically reports to top management. The Top Labor Relations Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. Under general direction, the Attorney III works closely with the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel and Regional Director on a variety of issues, including: formulating policies and procedures, administrative matters, mentoring less experienced attorneys, training regional office staff, reviewing drafts of case-related documents, complex case work and other matters as needed.
Special Requirements
The position requires fluency in the Spanish language. If the State of California does not have a current record documenting your fluency in this language, you will be required to successfully pass an approved language fluency test prior to being hired.
The position requires a BAR License.
The position requires five years of legal experience in the practice of law.
