Develops and implements inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Top Inventory Control Executive collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Inventory Control Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Top Inventory Control Executive typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.
The purpose of this position is to assist in maintaining and distributing parts, products, and supplies included in the Brake Supply inventory. This position will perform a variety of tasks within the Department, including, but not limited to pulling parts and filling work orders, shipping and receiving, stocking parts, preparing and shipping parts, and delivering parts to other Departments within the facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pull and ship work orders
- Designate holdings shelf or orders that are not complete
- Match up paperwork for all work orders that are complete
- Organize and store documents for Material Handlers
- Ensure proper parts placement
- Pull parts for sales orders and put together “kits”
- Unload truck shipments
- Prepare truck shipments
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Strong customer service skills
- Problem solving
- Exceptional written and oral communication
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Computer skills
- Must be 18 or older to apply
