The Inventory Control Specialist position is a full-time (40 hours per week) role. This position is Seasonal and expected to run through end of 2023.

Position Summary:

Responsible for investigating and resolving inaccurate inventory adjustments and transactions. Approving/rejecting cycle counts and verifying sub inventory and locator accuracy. Keeping inventory records with accuracy and integrity.

Essential Functions:

• Understand and follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines for assigned position
• Understand receiving, filling, accounting, and system transactions
• Maintain Inventory accuracy
• Maintain clean safe work area, and follow safety practices and procedures
• Responsible for delivering safety, quality, delivery and cost
• Communicate with other departments on a regular basis, Replenish, Custom Order Processor, Issue Resolution, and Inventory Control Supervisor
• Actively support and participate in continuous improvement process, facilitate change
• Participating in Inventory Audits
• Maintain Cycle Count/Inventory Records
• Assist with Cycle Count Metrics as needed
• Setting up default locators and receiving inventory
• Rotating Materials based on space and usage/seasonal.
• Reassign locations to items using consumption report
• Manage Obsolete items and work with lifecycle team
• Ensure that Inventory is put away quickly and accurately as it is received in

Experience and Skills:

• Previous cycle count experience
• Experience using Microsoft Programs (Outlook/Word/Excel/Access)
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Organize/Prioritize variety of tasks/projects
• Work as an effective team member
• Work independently in high volume environment with minimal supervision
• Work with deadlines and specific time frames in high volume environment
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
