Position Summary
Support, maintains, and performance of processes and procedures associated to Inventory integrity. Oversees and supports cycle counters in performing specified duties to ensure that all material is properly verified to be reflective of systemic inventory.
Qualifications
• Advanced cycle counting experience with scanners. Ability to assess offsetting adjustments presented by cycle count findings.
• Intermediate Excel Skills.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word & Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external personnel over the phone or via email.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Qualified to operate Scissor Lift and Sit-down / Stand up forklift.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks as requested.
• Requires quick and effective decision-making skills on matters specially relating to improving customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Maintain assigned cycle count schedule and associated count workbooks.
• Systemically receive inbound tote returns and document on traceability log.
• Ensure approved Quality Control (QC) dump listings are completed as assigned.
• Post Inventory Discrepancy (ID) submissions.
• Run and format First Expire First Out (FEFO) reporting on a weekly basis.
• Coordinate with cycle counters to perform emergency counts as presented. If cycle counters are not available, then perform urgent counts as needed.
• Assist and coordinate with the planning and execution of Physically Inventory (PI).
• Assist Inventory Control Supervisor during 3rd party Inventory audits.
• Review completed Production Work orders and investigate and resolve variances.
• Process regular stock product into a QC Hold part for respective Discrepant Material Report (DMR’s).
• Conduct necessary Inventory adjustments.
• Conduct Consumable counts 1x week.
• Investigate and resolve variances on Sales Orders, Transfer Orders, and Purchase Orders.
• Create Dumpster Sales Order requests and submit to Finance for approval.
• Process Dumpster and Donation Sales Orders.
• Create Certificates of Destruction (COD) for any product disposed related to a DMR.
• Process and dispose product approve by Purchasing and provide COD.
• Capture lots and quantities for product returned by Customer.
• Create Deviation and Shelf-Life Extension forms and submit to QC Department.
• Review inventory On-hand and follow up with Purchasing and Customer Service for any product with short shelf life.
• Correct and investigate any off-balance inventory quantities.
• Communicate and process any request from Customer Service and Purchasing.
• Ensure Warehouse crew uses product on FEFO sequence.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies reported by the warehouse team.
• Prepare daily report of spaces in the Warehouse.
• Substitute for Inventory Control Supervisor.
• Substitute for Cycle Counter.
• Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
• Responsible for tracking current production usage.
• Completes all required paperwork/transaction in an accurate and timely manner.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for long periods of time with extensive walking and perform counts in refrigerated coolers.
• Frequent standing walking, bending, twisting, occasionally lifting 50 pounds.
• Fast-paced manufacturing / packaging work environment.
