Position Summary: 

The Inventory Control Clerk will assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensure inventory is available and ready for use. The position will be a key player in root cause analysis to ensure ongoing improvement with operational inefficiencies. The ICC will also serve as a leader of process improvement and best practices. This role will require a combination of system skills as well as hands on work. 

Responsibilities:  

1.     Systematically receiving and setting up new items accurately

2.     Daily allocation of inventory to outbound sales orders

3.     Monitor user transaction data to ensure proper movement of inventory

4.     Ensuring accuracy and balance between Marketing and Warehouse systems

5.     Maintain inventory of technology hardware used by DC

6.     Assisting Cycle Counters with inventory audits

7.     Develop root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies 

8.     Review Warehouse Management System screens and reports to execute daily and weekly audits 

9.     Troubleshoot and execute test scripts 

10.   UPC verification and programming 

11.   Ability to operate Forklift and Pallet Jack Equipment 

12.   Other duties as assigned by the manager

Working Relationships: The Inventory Control Clerk will report to the Manager, DC Process Improvement and will work closely with warehouse operation supervisors. He or she will also interact with Warehouse leadership and will participate in cross functional assignments with the Store Support Team and Marketing Department.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum Education:  Associates Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management

Preferred Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management               

 Minimum Experience:  3 years of inventory control or warehouse experience with knowledge of inventory management software 

Preferred Experience:  5 years of inventory control or warehouse experience with knowledge of inventory management software. Knowledge of Dynamics365 or HighJump/Korber WMS a plus. 

Licenses/Certifications:      Obtain license to operate pallet jack, forklift  

Soft Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, ability to influence management and peers.

Other: Ability to use all Microsoft Programs such as Excel, Word, and Email 

Driving/Fleet Vehicle Requirement: N/A

Travel:    N/A 

Physical: Standing and walking for long periods of time (50%) and Sitting (50%)

Hours & Conditions:  

Conditions: Standing and Walking for long periods of time (50%) and Sitting (50%), ability to lift up to 40lbs, exposure to noise, dirt, dust and vibration. Temperature range from 90 degrees to -20 degrees.

Hours: 40 hours/week Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM occasional variance in hours to meet 24/7 needs of Distribution Center.
