Top Inventory Control Executive oversees, plans, and directs all aspects of inventory management policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develops standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Being an Top Inventory Control Executive leads inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Develops and implements inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Top Inventory Control Executive collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Inventory Control Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Top Inventory Control Executive typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Associate’s degree required with a preference in supply chain management, business or related field and 2 years of supply chain experience, with at least 1 year in the health care industry OR minimum of 6 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, and/or surgical services.
