Position Summary
The Liquid Inventory Control Specialist is an hourly, full-time position reporting to the General Manager. The Specialist is responsible for the overall quality and timeliness of the Division’s liquid product inventory control process. The responsibilities of the position include recording Bill of Lading material receipts, matching vendor invoices, daily balancing of physical inventory sales versus perpetual liquid inventory balances. The position works directly with the General Manager and others to ensure contractual commitments to suppliers, pricing of acquired gallons and changing market conditions are properly communicated. The Specialist is also responsible for providing work that is accurate and timely, through the company’s operating systems and platforms, with duties performed with internal or external financial teams or other work as may be assigned, to include secondary customer support as may be needed. This position is an in-office role, located in Turner, ME.

Qualifications
- Experience in inventory management required (liquid inventory preferred)
- Ability to quickly comprehend different aspects of the position, including the process flow of product, the different products sold, the impact of different hedging programs and their impact on layering levels of product, various customer program offerings and other industry specific aspects of the position as may be required
- Accounting reconciliation experience is necessary
- Self-motivated with a high degree of comfort working independently in managing priorities and making decisions with complex information
- Demonstrates determination in seeking answers to unknown variances
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office (prior experience with detailed spreadsheet development and analysis a must)
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a customer-focused professional environment
- Works in a persistent but respectful manner to produce accurate and timely reporting
- Strong sense of professionalism and a well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team
- College level degree in an applicable degree program, preferable but not required.
- Must meet employment eligibility standards including criminal and other background checks
