One Day Installation and Repairs is a general contractor with over 15 years of experience. We are looking for an Air Compressor Mechanic on a part time basis, however, it might grow into full time.

We are a small company, so you will be working directly with the owner and a small team of admin personnel. 

Responsibilities of the Air Compressor Mechanic include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain air compressors, air treatment equipment, and related products.

• Provide monthly, quarterly, annual and triennial services for breathing and non-breathing equipment.
  
• Check in with each client on site and keep in communication regarding job requirements, safety guidelines, scope of work, additional findings, cost, and completion time.
• Job sites must always be left clean and neat.
• Electronic work orders and warranty forms (if applicable)  must be completed prior to leaving customers' facility.
• Proper communication with Project  Manager and Admin Support staff required.
• Participation in safety meetings and safety training is required and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn.
• Must be able to work on a ladder, operate a man-lift and forklift.
• Responsible for keeping industrial air compressors and control systems running correctly.
• Will work directly with our clients, vendors, and co-workers to develop and sustain a positive relationship.
  
  Qualifications of the Air Compressor Mechanic include, but are not limited to:
  
  • 3 years of mechanical service experience required.
  • Good communication, written, telephone, and computer skills.
  • Must have a reliable car and a valid driver's license. 
  • Certification are not required but desirable.

• Physical Demand: Lift up to 50lbs
• Working Conditions: Shop environment- Requires working in hot (above 90 F degrees) or cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures, includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable. Requires working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions. Requires working in cramped spaces and getting into awkward positions. Includes exposure to contaminants.
• Shift Time/Overtime: 8:00am-4:30pm
• Travel: Travel to customer sites - as of today all locations are within Santa Clara County
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, technical college degree preferred
