We are a growing small business, working in Missoula, Montana and surrounding areas. We specialize in asphalt sealcoating, crack filling, patching, and striping. We are looking for someone with leadership qualities for this position, but no experience required! A team leader will typically run a team including themselves plus two or three more employees. The work is seasonal and begins in April, depending on the availability of product. It's important to be ready to use a variety of tools, from shovels to demolition saws, skid steers, and mini excavators.
We work 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, with optional weekend jobs. Hours are typically 7-5, but are contingent on project variations. Wages will be negotiable and dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment such as dump trailers, skid steers, mini excavators, rollers and plate compactors.
- Lead and delegate tasks to team members
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the team
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of employees
- Conduct employee training
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Create and maintain a positive work environment
