Additionally, Top Human Resources Executive identifies and explores trends in human resources to enhance the employee experience, meet evolving organizational needs and create innovative programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Human Resources Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Senior Systems Engineer candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• 10 or more years' experience in a leadership role preferably in program management or engineering management.• Experience independently leading teams in a matrix organization (i.e., resources are shared and constrained).• Experience with program financial reporting and metrics (EVMS a plus)• Experience working in the defense industry, the intelligence community, or other government agencies• Ability to schedule, coordinate and act as the lead in interfacing with external customers.
Preferred Qualifications:• Basic understanding of various contract types (Cost Plus, Fixed Price and Time and Material) and the required levels of financial reporting.• Basic understanding of Budget Management, Risk Management and other management tools / metrics.• Previous functional management experience• Basic proposal experience / exposure
