The South Dakota Department of Health is looking for an individual who has excellent interpersonal skills and can successfully manage the Board of Pharmacy and its duties, staff, and functions to protect the public health of the patients and customers of pharmacists and pharmacies.
Licenses and Certifications:
Must be a licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of South Dakota.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal, written, computer, public speaking, and law interpretation abilities in working with the Board of Pharmacy.
The successful candidate will have significant knowledge of SD and Federal laws and rules for pharmacists, pharmacies, interns, technicians, and wholesale distributors and the licensure of each. The candidate must be able to direct the administration of the Board's licensing responsibilities, complaint investigations, supervisory functions, expenditures and collections of revenue.
